Quality Management
Our professionals maintain a high
degree of involvement and management control over each project, resulting in a close client-consultant relationship. In addition, Rau
and Associates has established close working relationships with specialized
engineering firms and independent consultants. These relationships
ensure that we can form design teams that can address the full range of specific requirement of
individual projects. Rau and Associates corporate procedures are continuously reviewed and through our formal TQM (Total Quality Management) program. Goals and priorities are confirmed during meetings of our three -person management team.
In today's fast-tracked projects schedules, Rau and Associates recognizes the need for efficient preparation, modification, and distribution of project documents. To facilitate this, Rau and Associates is committed to using industry standard computer software and hardware, including Autocad, Land Desktop (mapping and design) and Haestad Methods, (hydrology software), among others, use of leading leading design software providers in the industry allows for compatible software sharing amongst design professionals. Continual formal training to keep abreast with technology and current regulations is vital. Rau and Associates staff use electronic data collecting and 3-dimensional modeling to produce a product that can be fully utilized by other team professionals, governmental agencies and for design. This modeling also allows for drive through or visual aids in the permit process, and electronic data submittals to reviewing agencies.
